Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Clara Bajzek earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology from the Illinois Institute of Technology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry. After exploring teaching and research, she discovered her passion for dentistry—a field that allows her to combine art, science, and compassion for others
At Evergreen Smiles Dental, Dr. Clara cares for patients in the office and throughout the greater Chicago area via a mobile dental van that serves children in schools. A proud “dental nerd,” she mentors and educates dental students on YouTube and Instagram as Dental CLARAfication. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys game nights with her four siblings, meal-prepping with her sister, and spoiling her cat. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
Dr. Sophia Tekle is a dedicated dentist who has been serving the Chicagoland community for over ten years. Originally from Arizona, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry before making Chicago her home. Passionate about creating healthy, confident smiles, Dr. Tekle is committed to providing personalized, high-quality care that helps patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Outside the office, Dr. Tekle enjoys traveling, hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time with her friends and family. She is thrilled to be part of the Evergreen Smiles Dental team and looks forward to welcoming patients and building lasting relationships.
